Dear City Councilmembers,
My partner has been a resident of the area his entire life, and he has been living in West Menlo since 2017 and I since 2020. I am writing to voice our support for the development of affordable housing in Downtown Menlo Park.
We support inclusive community measures such as building low-income housing in areas that would otherwise be inaccessible. People who support the community in the services should have a chance to live near their workplaces. We view the availability of these choices as central to the well-being of ourselves and those around us. Please (literally) build a more vibrant, inclusive community. We are pro-affordable housing in DTMP.
