Dear Betsy Nash, I am writing on behalf of Olga Maksin and Josep Herrero who have a little toddler and are expecting a second baby in a few months. They are very concerned that the proposed placement of a testing tent for Covid19 will be too close to their house on Burnell Lane because they live directly on the other side of the fence from the Menlo Medical facilities. Can you please reconsider this positioning given that there are many kids and elderly residents on Burnell and Morandi Lane. Stanford Menlo Medical could easily redesign the testing flow so that there is a large gap between the tents and the residential area and it would relieve a huge psychological burden on the residents there. In times like these we need to make sure we are managing the stress of the most vulnerable in our society and making sure they feel safe is part of that care.
