Keep the parks open! (but encourage distancing)

First, thank you for your work during this trying time. I know it isn't easy. But as a resident of Menlo Park, I would encourage you to read this article: https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2020/04/closing-parks-ineffective-pandemic-theater/609580/ Closing our parks -- unlike encouraging social distancing, limiting all unnecessary trips and wearing a mask -- is not based in science and will ultimately be counterproductive. Sunlight and fresh air are natural enemies of viruses, and were heavily employed during the Spanish Flu of 1918 : https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0195670113001540 This is a long battle, and we need everyone to participate for the long haul. This will be unsustainable - in particular for those who live in apartments or lack access to green space of their own - unless we give folks an ability to be outside (while maintaining the appropriate distance and wearing a mask!).
