Dear Menlo Park City Council: I am a renter in Menlo Park, and a registered nurse. I am interested to learn if Menlo Park has followed the lead of San Francisco and enacted a moratorium on residential rent increases during the Covid-19 pandemic. The majority of landlords are ethical, reasonable people. This moratorium is not meant for them, but for the small minority of landlords who could take this as an opportunity to be a pandemic profitter.
