Is there any system in place to inform and ensure that construction crews who now are allowed to resume home construction follow social distancing and other health requirements? The “designated health person” with a checklist really isn’t going work. We observed a crew show up at 8am at 1041 Princeton this morning. The workers came in pairs, got out of their vehicles and then happily high fived and backslapped each other. Glad to be getting back to work, but in no way practicing social distancing. Nobody was wearing masks either. Just…business as usual. In contrast, the crew working across the street from me has maintained appropriate distancing and worn masks. It can be done, but I think the City is going to have to talk to a lot of these crews in person. Carole Grace carolelfgrace_at_(domainremoved) Received on Mon May 04 2020 - 10:08:31 PDT
