I am a long-time resident of Menlo Park. We live on Siskiyou and had a break-in a few years ago. No one was arrested. With the recent spate of burglaries, we have upgraded our security system and taken several actions to "harden" our home.
Over the last several weeks, I have looked into the cost-benefits of installing ALPR, and considering various factors—cost, the experience of adjacent communities, privacy concerns—Im convinced that an ALPR system would improve our safety and peace of mind and is worth the investment.
