City Council, I strongly urge you to consider closing Santa Cruz Avenue. Look at other cities that have downtown pedestrian malls. It attracts business with more restaurant and cafe outdoor seating. There may also be outside performers that arrive. Boulder Colorado is an example. The Pearl Street Mall is the hub of the city which draws business at all seasons even given harsher winters.
