Hello MP City Council, I recently became aware that an item on the agenda tomorrow night that suggests closure of MCC (Menlo Children’s Center) as a possible fiscal saving effort. As a father of 2 young MCC age children, and 8 year resident of this wonderful city; I’m gravely concerned about the negative community impact this decision would bring. One of the primary reasons that my wife and I chose to buy our home and start our family in this city and not on of our other peninsula options was the excellent city services and experience with MCC caring for our young son. It is an unparalleled offering and our family would be devastated with a sudden closure in an already tumultuous time. I would like the opportunity to provide this feedback live in your meeting if there is an appropriate avenues to do so in the agenda?
