Hello my name is Claudia Perez and I live in the Menlo Park community. My daughter Kimberly Millan Perez attended Belle Haven CDC last year 2019. I just now learned that there will be budget cuts and closures in the Menlo Park area where I live and I don't believe that is the correct thing to do. As this CDC has helped a lot of low income parents and has helped our children in so many ways for when they begin Kindergarten. The teachers at the Belle Haven CDC are all very amazing and my family was very fortunate to have had a wonderful expierce from the whole staff. They all love the kids and you can tell they enjoy being there with the kids as well as the kids get so happy when they arrive in the mornings. My daughter Kimberly til this day begs me to take her back because she misses attending this CDC. She had 3 amazing teachers being Yesenia, Gale, and Kira which I totally understand my child these teachers are amazing! And closing or even having budget cuts would affect many families.
