To all City Council Members in Menlo Park, I am making an urgent request for you to preserve Menlo Park Gymnastics when you consider the budget tomorrow. This is a truly great program. The teachers, the studio and everyone who comes together to provide this vigorous and high-quality program are outstanding and a credit to the community. It would be a particular blow to eliminate this during and in the aftermath of this COVID crisis. I know the program firsthand having observed my granddaughter during and after class. It has benefited here in so many ways, including physically with her improvement in strength and posture and spiritually with increased confidence and poise. Looking at the other students, I can see that these effects have not impacted her alone. I can see it in the reaction of many of the students. Please take action and stop this cut and save Menlo Park Gymnastics!
