Hello, and thank you for your leadership during this difficult time, My name is Toni Ouradnik and I am a parent of a student at La Entrada and a student at Peninsula School. Both of my children have taken classes at the Arrillaga Gymnastics Center and my daughter has found the classes, friendships, and skills learned to be a central part of how she views herself. We understand that there are no easy answers for dealing with the lack of funding that comes from the temporary closure of the Gymnastics Center, and yet to lose this could have long-term consequences for many of the children in this community. Burgess Park and all of the opportunities provided there for healthy, active children are a central part of our family and community life.
