Hello council members,
I want to express my support for the current aquatics program, Tim Sheeper and Menlo Swim and Sport. I am hearing encouraging information that the city and Sheeper are working together to build and support both pool programs. For too long I feel it has been an adversarial relationship, with most negativity coming from the city.
I have been swimming regularly for 12 years and it is an important part of my health program. It is also a wonderful community. I have gotten to know the “regulars” and look forward to seeing them in the morning.
I urge you to work with Menlo Swim and Sport to keep the good program running.
