I am a resident of Menlo Park and believe that cost saving is vital to the future of our city. Combining police department with San Mateo county police is a great idea. Also we should also negotiate the retirement liabilities of the employees and reduce the cost of those old retirement obligations like submit them to PGBC for federal protection of our funds that are drained due to high retirement liabilities.
