Dear City Council members, I would like to thank you for your hard work during this difficult time in history. I was informed that the city is planning to decide which businesses to cut due to Covid-19. I would like you to consider the importance of the gymnastics program for the community. First, I believe the city has spent quite a sum to build the facility which is one of the best in the Peninsula if not the Bay Area. It would be a shame not use it in the future. Second, I would like to share with you how the gymnastics is such a big part in building confidence and healthy habits in the children in our community and beyond. I understand that it is hard to see how the gymnastics program could continue in the year or so, but I believe in the power of our creativity and determination. I believe we can all come up with ideas to bring our gymnastics program back. My children has benefitted from the program for the last five years. I can see the difference in their confidence and health, and happiness. Thank you for taking time to read my email.
