Dear City Council,
I am trying to understand why the City installed speed bumps on Middle
Avenue in Menlo Park. They seem totally unnecessary and I would like to see
them removed. The speed bumps present a danger to bicycles and scooters.
There is already a stop sign on Middle Avenue about midway between
University Avenue and Olive Street, which brings vehicles to a complete
stop. So why do we need speed bumps on this tranquil street?
