I like this idea inspired by councilmember Mueller: Invite volunteer economic and sustainability experts and retirees to make recommendations on formulating a new budget -one that will benefit the City long term and enhance recovery now. Very important to consider a sustainable future - in EVERY aspect of the budget and City government! If we are not making “Green New Deal” or *better* plans, there may be a very challenging future for Menlo Park’s children! And we need ALL the input we can get - easy to weed out ideas that can’t work later - let’s get some creative ideas on the table first!
