Hi Mayor and Councilmembers, I was really relieved when I heard that Menlo Park had voted (I think unanimously) to pass the Safe Storage of Firearms ordinance a few months ago in the first reading but I have not been able to find the ordinance in the Menlo Park municipal code and was told the second reading was not done. Obviously, the last few months have been consumed with the response to Covid, but I am hoping you will be able to hold the second reading to make this ordinance official. In the last couple months Hillsborough and Millbrae passed this ordinance; Belmont and San Mateo will be having their vote soon. Please join the other towns on the Peninsula in having this ordinance.
