Menlo Park City Council, I endorse Councilman Mueller's recommendation to "Invite volunteer economic experts and retirees e.g. from Stanford, to make recommendations on formulating a new budget-- one that will benefit the City long term and enhance the recovery now." Our spending is the highest per capita in the county and objective eyes can be effective at identifying areas where we can reduce costs and overcome our budget shortfall.
