According to the Country Almanac our city council is considering making cuts to our libraries funding: "The council discussed in depth and agreed to a number of proposed cost-saving measures https://handouts-live.s3.amazonaws.com/ee52dfed34794a87b3269217018a48fd?X-Amz-Algorithm=AWS4-HMAC-SHA256&X-Amz-Date=20200527T010417Z&X-Amz-SignedHeaders=host&X-Amz-Expires=86400&X-Amz-Credential=AKIAJICNIQWVMWBRIUMQ%2F20200527%2Fus-east-1%2Fs3%2Faws4_request&X-Am z-Signature=715a58372f5dad428046e1ed830a81ba8e4a5f28a1e9e2d0f47351c70bdef1ea> to library services, such as withdrawing from the Peninsula Library System, reducing library hours by 25% at the main and Belle Haven branch libraries, and reducing the book and e-resource budget up to 75%.” No, PLEASE! Our libraries are too valuable; they are our educational resource and beyond. Menlo Park has done the right thing by valuing the libraries with accommodating services and hours. DO NOT CUT LIBRARY SERVICES PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!! From, Christine Pixie Couch 1004 Almanor Ave, MP. Received on Wed May 27 2020 - 13:06:35 PDT
