The Chamber is prepared to present the alternative plan at our City Council meeting on June 9th, during the City Council Covid-19 discussion. There is a placeholder in this agenda item, marked by our subcommittee's original proposal, that allows for this discussion and we believe in the interest of public health and in support of our business community, given the County has made outdoor dining permissible again, the discussion is appropriate and timely.? Without discussing the substance of the proposal, in compliance with the Brown Act, we want to express our gratitude to the Chamber of Commerce for their work on this item and making their representatives available so quickly.
