Dear city council, I am a Menlo Park resident for more than 10years and our kids are registered at Menlo Park Children’s center for early preschool and afterschool care respectively. Could anyone provide an update on MCC reopening plans? We are just being left completely in the dark, in the middle of a crisis beyond proportion. There has been NO official communication to the parent community since the school temporary closing almost 90 days ago. This is completely irresponsible and disrespectful to both the teacher community as well as the parent community. It is beneath the standards for any organization. Keep in mind, this has nothing to do with budgets or decision making in time of crisis, its essential communication that we are asking for. How would you like your community to look at this? Lots of leaders in communities and companies across the country are stepping up and taking a stance on what they will and will not do in time of crisis. Menlo Park city council has done NOTHING of that sort. This will be your legacy. STEP UP!
