Dear Menlo Park Council Members: I am a devoted Menlo Masters swimmer, and I am suffering greatly with the pool closure. My husband and 2 daughters are regular swimmers too. I understand that Covid is disruptive to life in many ways to everyone. But now that the State and County said it was OK to reopen with safety guidelines, I plea with you to allow reopening. If cost is a main issue, extra fees could be passed on to the to the swimmers who would understand and accept it in these times. Swimming at Menlo is a critical part of our mental and physical health routine, and I cannot stress how important this is to me and my whole family.
