To City council, staff, and complete streets commission -
As a daily user of Middle Ave I really appreciate all of the new changes to
the street. It feels much more manageable as a pedestrian and cyclist and I
dont mind it as a car driver either. I feel proud that the "safe route to
school" signs on that street actually mean something now.
Thank you for following through with a design that enhances safety of ALL
users of the road, not just cars. Would love to see this trend continue on
other streets in Menlo Park soon.
Looking forward, in my neck of the woods Id be most excited about getting
the Middle Ave undercrossing built, making the remaining route from Middle
to Oak Knoll safer for cyclists and pedestrians, and adding to the bike
lanes on El Camino coming from Palo Alto,
