Dear Mayor Combs and Council Members,
In my 40+ years as a Trial Attorney (and Judge),
When a judge sends out clues like: "No Bond. . . City Failed to show that the Lawsuit is Without Merit"; I advised my client to save the expense of going to trial and SETTLE.
As a Judge, where there was obvious merit, I wondered why the defendant wasted the courts time with a "bond demand".
Please start considering the many alternate housing sites.
AND. . . Stop wasting taxpayer money and settle this lawsuit.
