Dear City Council I am writing to inform you what a tremendous difference it's making in our sons lives when they attend the after-School & Onetta Harris Community Center programs. My Wife and I see firsthand how it improves our and other children's grades, keeps kids safe, benefits working families and has a positive effect on the entire community. Both programs helps us and other working parents in our community as well as surrounding communities have access to quality enrichment activities. In addition, the Onetta Harris Community Center provides our citizens with a proven history of success. The after school programs like yours offer a safe & proper academic environment that is critical in the 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. time period before most working parents can get home.
