Church at 201 Ravenswood advocating for the City Council to vote yes to certify the PARKLINE Final Environmental Impact Report and approve the project

Dear Mayor Combs, Vice Mayor Nash, Councilmember Schmidt, Councilmember
Taylor, Councilmember Wise, and City Manager Murphy,

*I’m writing to you, once again, on behalf of the members of the First
Church of Christ, Scientist at 201 Ravenswood. *

*Our Church would like to add its voice to others that are in support of
the City Council following the unanimous recommendation of the City
Planning Commission and vote yes to certify the Parkline Final
Environmental Impact Report and approve the project.*

Since my last email to you on June 6th, 2025, where I shared the concerns
of our membership regarding numerous delays in the approval process for the
Parkline Project, our Church has loved seeing the progress that has moved
the Parkline Project to this important milestone.

We continue to believe that the best outcome for our Church and the
citizens of Menlo Park is to see our property, as well the rights we hold
with SRI for areas around our property, to be integrated into the Parkline
Project so the City can benefit from the additional housing, open space,
and other features this enables.

*Approval by the City Council will move us closer toward the successful
completion of our formal purchase option agreement with Lane Partners which
continues to be our preference for the sale of our Church property.*

Sincerely,
Bob Macdonald
*Church Treasurer & Chair of our Ad Hoc Committee for the Sale of our
Church Property*
