Dear Menlo Park City Council,
I am an area resident who frequents downtown Menlo Park and the Burgess Park area often.
I support the Parkline proposal, particularly the new affordable and supportive housing it will bring to the community. If anything, I would suggest adding more of this and less office space, but I trust you have considered this carefully.
Please do not neglect to insist on robust onsite supportive services for the low and very low income units. This is the income category of our disabled and special needs residents. And they deserve and require these onsite supportive services in order to safely and successfully live with dignity and independence in the community.
Thanks for supporting a healthy and fully integrated community. I look forward to seeing this project built.
