Dear City Council,
I am writing to give my support for the SRI Parkline Project. I am
especially delighted to hear that the project has been expanded from 450
and 800 new homes. Its a wonderful location, near schools, the library,
and downtown. It also seems like it will bring a lot of vibrancy and
opportunity for the community as well. I bike by the location daily on my
way to work and the idea of the land becoming a home for so many people is
very exciting!
As someone who works at Menlo Atherton High School and will be pursuing a
teaching credential in hopes of being able to teach in San Mateo County,
this project is especially meaningful as it gives me hope that housing will
become more affordable and I will be able to stay in the area long term.
