Dear Councilmembers,
I urge you to approve the Parkline Master Plan Project before you this
evening.
I have been following this project for the last four years. Weve arrived
at this point thanks to the efforts of all stakeholders, including Council,
staff, members of the public, and the projects partners.
*And the results are worth celebrating! Hundreds of new homes, including
deeply affordable homes, will be built where there were none! Housing at
all income levels, close to transit and services! *
I live just half a mile from this site, so I also appreciate the many
community amenities included in the plan before you.
*Our city desperately needs new housing! *With every day that goes by,
housing insecurity is on the rise for our most vulnerable residents.
Please allow this project to move forward without further delay.
