Greetings all, My name is Donna Wallach & I stand with Aram James & Rebecca Eisenberg that Perron & all police workers need to be fired immediately & the cops be de-certified as cops so they can NEVER work in any form of law enforcement. I agree wholeheartedly that Perron must be dismissed immediately, with prejudice. Additionally, every other police officer who has a known history of excessive force must be dismissed as well. This includes the officers whose records the public does not know because the Police and the City of Palo Alto have refused to share the records with the public, despite numerous attempts to receive those records, as is required by contract and law. As long as an officer who has committed racial violence remains on the force, our community is not safe. A city that truly believes that Black Lives Matter recognizes that a police force with officers that commit racial violence unavoidably puts black lives in immediate danger. Our community deserves better. We demand that you immediately fire Officers Perron, DeStefano, Benitez, and every other officer with a record or credible complaint of racial violence.
