Dear Mayor and City Council Members, While the EQC has not officially discussed these items, the EQC did vote to put forward the CAP that was approved by City Council earlier this month. These two items on your agenda this evening help close funding gaps on CAP item #4 as well as providing another additional $100K for the CAP in this year's fiscal budget. These relatively small investments drive tremendous benefit for our community and, as you heard from Commissioner Gaillard, help us address and protect the health and safety of our community in the face of climate change. I encourage you to support these two items this evening as actions we can take to support our CAP not just with our words, but with our actions.
