Dear Councilmembers and City Manager Jerome-Robinson, As San Mateo County prepares for the shutting down of businesses due to the recent monitoring data, the Board of Supervisors will be considering an emergency regulation this Tuesday to suspend zoning regulations and allowing for outdoor dining and personal care services on a temporary basis. I urge you to consider a similar regulation for Menlo Park. By following social distancing protocols, many of our small businesses can continue to operate in a safe manner while outdoors. In the Willows, we have businesses that are an integral part of our community and they are on the brink of closing. Your continued support will help them stay in business.
