To the City Council, My husband and I, both active voters, are contacting you to let you know that many of us want to continue with the Santa Cruz Avenue closures allowing businesses to serve outdoors. Most nights many of the restaurants are busy -- only because they have extended outdoor areas. I believe the complaints come from city residents that never really head to our downtown and thus really don't support our businesses at all. We also find that some Council members don't seem to visit downtown either and thus don't support the businesses.. Our downtown is for all and the Council should vote for the good of the downtown not just their constituents that may not visit.
