Baywood has less traffic in the afternoon Due to the sign. The traffic has been diverted to a smaller block, Woodland to Blackburn Ave. The cars whip around the Woodland/Blackburn corner turning onto Marmona dr. Or continue straight fiwn Blackburn. Having stood on the sidewalk talking to a neighbor, their very quiet block is no longer as quiet. I believe Baywood was meant to take heavier traffic. Diverting traffic to a different street seems to defeats the purpose. Another street received more traffic It should be note what happened to another street when the traffic was diverted from Baywood. I live around the corner from both Blackburn & Baywood streets. With the speed bumps on Marmona dr, there is slower traffic. Because if Covid 19 there is much less traffic. Many more people will be working from home. They will not be coming back to the commuting workforce creating permanent less traffic. Is there still a need as before for a permanent no left turn at Woodland/Baywood? I think you need to do a traffic count before making the left turn permanent. Sent from my iPhone Received on Tue Aug 11 2020 - 13:20:15 PDT
