I completed and submitted my responses to the survey, but I wanted to note
my strong objection to the construction of this survey. My wife and I both
found it to be very difficult to answer several questions which seem to be
structured in ways to force answers that were not consistent with the way
we felt. It was not at all well structured in terms of being unbiased.
Several questions e g. 8-10) forced me to choose from responses that didnt
represent my preferences at all. Several seemed structured to
pre-determine the answers, specifically to justify more support for bikes
and perhaps a centralized parking structure. For example, Id argue that a
single structure would create more traffic circulation problems not less
since everyone would have to drive to get to that one structure.
And forcing me to rank seven or eight different answers when perhaps. I
didnt agree with any of them, could lead you to interpret my answers
inaccurately.
I would encourage you to be very careful in citing the survey or using it
to make decisions.
