Menlo Park City Council Members:
I read the article "Menlo Park Residents Submit Signatures for Downtown Parking Lot Measure_ in the October 17, 2025 issue of "The Almanac".
Sacramento continues to DEMAND cities of California to build more affordable housing. This action will look good short
term, but long-term it will be disastrous to everyone and everything. Humanly we should support family planning, (stop running away from the issue of OVERPOPULATION - FACE IT with DOMINION), provide TEMPORARY housing via vacant office space, and OUTLAW price gouging!
Selling or renting property above the "LISTED PRICE" is dishonest and only breeds discouragement, depression, fear, anger, despair, despondency, resignation, even violence - crime.
Everyone, as individuals, in the community, the state, the world, in our governments, have a responsibility to uplift our thoughts about MAN. How are we each identifying ourselves and others? Are we seeing anyone as poor, deformed, diseased, uneducated, deprived, lacking good in any way, sad, unhappy, mortal and material, - here today and gone tomorrow, like housing? OR - Are we seeing MAN as a WHOLE, COMPLETE IDEA of GOOD, happy, joyous, fulfilled, secure, confident, motivated, independent, humble, meek, strong, selfless being, full of trust and trustworthiness, who knows he always has everything he needs, when he needs it, - and so does everyone else?
When ALL of us - including governments, lift our concept, our understanding of who and what the REAL Man is (as Clara H Scott wrote in a hymn "Open My Eyes, That I May See"), "ev’rything false will disappear."
It is time each and every one of us woke up, understood, acknowledged and accepted the reality of who and what each of us really is, a PERFECT, ENTIRE REFLECTION of MIND.
Thank you for letting me share these concepts.
