Mayor Combs and City Council Members,
I live in Menlo Park and work in downtown Menlo Park. I’m writing to urge you to adopt the Downtown Parking Plazas Ordinance.
I understand firsthand how essential the parking plazas are. My job depends on customers and clients being able to access downtown easily.
A decision to repurpose the parking lots would have permanent consequences on the economic vitality on which I and many other local businesses depend.
I trust the people who live here to make this decision. Theyre the ones who will live with the consequences. They deserve a vote.
