Dear Mayor Combs and City Council Members,
I am a business and property owner in downtown Menlo Park, and Im writing to urge you to adopt the Downtown Parking Plazas Ordinance.I know firsthand how essential the parking plazas are. My business depends on my patients (many of whom are elderly) being able to access downtown easily. The businesses that create livelihoods for myself another workers absolutely rely on convenient and abundant parking.A decision to repurpose the parking lots will have permanent consequences on the economic vitality on which I depend.
I want the people who live here to make this decision. As well as myself, theyre the ones who will live with the consequences, and they deserve a vote.
