Mayor Combs and City Council Members,
I work in downtown Menlo Park, and Im writing to urge you to adopt the
Downtown Parking Plazas Ordinance.
I understand firsthand how essential the parking plazas are. My job depends
on customers and clients being able to access downtown easily. The
businesses that employ me and my fellow workers rely on those parking
spaces.
A decision to repurpose the parking lots would have permanent consequences
on the economic vitality on which I depend.
I trust the people who live here to make this decision. Theyre the ones
who will live with the consequences. They deserve a vote.
