Honorable Menlo Park City Council,
Im writing in support of increasing the number of affordable homes in the SRI campus project, and Id especially like to advocate for family housing (2+ bedrooms) for extremely low, very low, and low income families like myself. So many of these projects
only allot housing for these groups that is a studio or one bedroom if we get anything at all. So many of my peers are stuck living with parents and unable to start families or are living in cramped quarters with their children. Family housing for the lowest
income groups would help keep people like us in Menlo Park- my husband is an employee of the San Mateo Superior Court and I am soon to start grad school for Marriage and Family Therapy.
