Dear Vice Mayor Nash-
You owe your constituents an apology regarding your expressed insult in
today’s Daily Post, “Vice Mayor Betsy Nash asked how voters will have the
correct information to vote”.
Since you appear to be unaware of the intelligence and educational level of
your constituents, here is a breakdown:
*Bachelors degree or higher:* Approximately 70% of residents over 25 have
a bachelors degree or higher, which is significantly higher than the
California state average.
*Specific degrees:*
*Graduate Degree:* 41%
*Bachelors Degree:* 29%
*Associate Degree:* 14%
*High School Degree:* 9%
*Less than 9th Grade:* 7%
As you can see, your constituents can easily research and make their own
decisions regarding voting.
Additionally, you continue to say you *hear* your constituents, but you do
not according to the voiced majority of Menlo Park residents. This is
patronizing and insulting to your constituents. So, unless your actions
show respect for the majority rule, kindly do not insult us with your
auto-response of *I hear you*.
