Ali El Safy and I have discussed the staff report for tonights council
meeting and request the Council consider our feedback when you decide the
priorities, next steps and phasing for the 600 block Public Plaza.
We believe the City needs to urgently demonstrate its commitment to
transforming the existing barren space into a valued community resource and
think installing significant improvements before the Holidays is critical.
