Dear City Council Members,
Thank you so much for supporting new homes and new parking garages on Menlo
Parks city-owned parking lots! The homes are essential to Menlo Park’s
success as a city and would make our downtown more vibrant and fun. Adding
parking garages would make businesses happy, making it a win for everyone!
I urge you to place the proposed measure on the November 2026 general
election ballot rather than calling for a March special election - both to
save cost and to ensure high voter turnout. Voter turnout is almost three
times higher in a general election than in a special election and will
better reflect the will of Menlo Park voters.
