Dear City Council Members,
While it is not an ideal solution, building affordable homes in downtown
parking lots seems to be a necessary action to meet the states housing
element.
I urge you to place the proposed measure on the November 2026 general
election ballot rather than calling for a March special election - both to
save cost and to ensure high voter turnout.
