Like it or not, the parking plazas are the life blood of Menlo Park’s downtown. As the usage study shows, these parking plazas are well-used during the days.
Menlo Park residents who use these parking areas should decide whether to repurpose these lots - it should not be at the whim of outside consultants.
The Council should adopt the ordinance outright, call for a special election to vote on this Initiative.
