Dear City Council Members,
Menlo Park, and every city in California, desperately needs more housing to
advance our economic, environmental, and social justice goals - as well as
to meet our obligations under CA law.
Please support new homes and modern parking solutions on Menlo Parks
city-owned parking lots. I urge you to *place the proposed measure on the
November 2026 general election ballot *rather than calling for a March
special election - both to save cost and to ensure high voter turnout.
Voter turnout is almost three times higher in a general election than in a
special election and will better reflect the will of Menlo Park voters.
