It has been repeated by the council that the parking lots are underutilized and “surplus” land. In the last few weeks I’ve found that not only are the lots full but also all available parking spaces on the streets are taken. You can say it over and over again, as seems to be the political strategy of the current administration, but that doesn’t make an untruth true.
