Revitalizing downtown?

Council members and City Maintenance Staff:
Our family was in Palo Alto on Christmas Eve to see the Christmas lighted homes on Fulton avenue.
On the way back to Menlo Park we drove through Palo Altos downtown University Avenue and every tree was fully wrapped and fully Lighted, Very Impressive!

Then we drove through downtown Menlo Park, and although many trees were wrapped with lights, very few trees were "turned on". So it was relatively dark and gloomy.
Not Impressive!
Not Revitalized!

Since "Revitalization of Downtown Menlo Park" is your Priorities, I would like you to Turn on ALL the Lights!

Do not spend any more time on the developers plans because:
The Parking lots are NOT SURPLUS LAND, and never will be.

The vote next November will simply confirm this.

Real Estate Fact: The Parking lots are ESSENTIAL to the REVITALIZATION of Downtown Menlo Park.

You have a list of things to do, that will revitalize Downtown Menlo Park; Building state mandated apartments on our parking lots is NOT on the list.
