Dear City Council Members and Staff,
Im writing to support action to finalize the design of the Middle Avenue
Pedestrian and Bicycle Rail Crossing project. We need to have this
project shovel ready, while continuing to seek additional funding for
the gap.
This Middle Avenue Pedestrian and Bicycle Rail Crossing project would
provide safe crossing over the train tracks, separating these users
from vehicle traffic and enhancing safety for students and commuters
alike. Additionally, this crossing would improve accessibility and
reduce congestion at the Citys other busy intersections, making it
easier for cyclists and pedestrians to navigate Menlo Park and the
great community.
