Dear city council members and staff,
Im writing to support action to finalize the design of the Middle Avenue
Pedestrian and Bicycle Rail Crossing project. We need to have this project
shovel ready while continuing to seek additional funding for the gap in
funding.
I’ve been cycling from the Willows to the hills by way of Ravenswood and
Menlo Ave for almost 40 years and it has gotten much scarier over that
time. I think the Middle Avenue crossing will be a considerably safer way
to get to or to bypass downtown.
